The Panthers acquired goaltender Jacob Markstrom in a trade with the New Jersey Devils , the teams announced on Tuesday.

Markstrom, 31, posted a 3.07 goals-against average and .883 save percentage in 44 games this past season. He has spent the last two seasons with the Devils after being traded to New Jersey by the Calgary Flames in June 2024.
