The team provided a slew of updates on Wednesday , including that goalie Frederik Andersen and forward Matt Savoie are not expected to participate in training camp next month while they rehab injuries suffered during off-season training sessions.
Andersen, 36, signed with Edmonton on a one-year deal this summer as an unrestricted free agent. The two-time all-star spent the 2025-26 campaign with the Stanley Cup-winning Carolina Hurricanes, posting a .874 save percentage and 3.05 GAA through 35 starts.
