It's a new age in terms of salaries for sure. I do think Celebrini will be worth it in the long-run. Bedard and Byram may be a different story for the Hawks.

The thing with Babs is, players either respect him or hate him. And most of that probably comes down to how Babs decided to treat individual players from the moment he met them. Some of it is fair, some isn't.

As a non-Wings fan, I also didn't see it coming. Could see that it needed to happen, but it definitely seemed like it would only happen if it was Yzerman's decision. I wonder if things just got bad enough where he got sick of it or realized that he wasn't the right fit. Obviously, there's the Larkin…
Didn't see this move as imminent by any means. I wonder if this is a hail mary to keep Larkin or find a new GM who will ultimately be more aggressive in the long run, but also find the best deal to move Larkin out. They shouldn't settle regardless.
