Brenden Dillon’s trade protection allowed the veteran defenseman to remain with the New Jersey Devils last season, according to insider Elliotte Friedman.
Speaking on Monday’s episode of The FAN Hockey Show , Friedman was discussing Dillon’s situation in New Jersey, as he’s seemed to fall out of favor since GM Sunny Mehta took control. He’s been scratched for their last three contests.
