2026-27 NHL team preview: Winnipeg Jets
from Daily Faceoff (Frank Seravalli),
After winning the Presidents’ Trophy in 2024-25, the Winnipeg Jets very much did not replicate that feat in 2025-26. Instead, they tumbled down the Central Division and overall standings, dropping from 116 points to 82 while finishing eight wins behind the Wildcard-occupying Utah Mammoth . Only six teams in the entire NHL scored fewer goals than last year’s Jets, which might not have been so bad if not for their similarly unimpressive goal and chance suppression results.
