An off-season of growth continued for the Professional Women’s Hockey League on Friday as it announced plans for a new conference structure and expanded playoff format for the upcoming season.
With four expansion teams set to hit the ice, the 12-team league released a Dec. 5-April 18 regular-season schedule that includes a three-round post-season.
