Canadiens sign Kirby Dach to one-year, $3.6M contract

The Montreal Canadiens announced Thursday that the forward has signed a one-year contract worth $3.6 million.

Dach was scheduled to have a salary arbitration hearing on July 30, per PuckPedia.

The 25-year-old recorded eight goals and seven assists in 37 regular-season games during the 2025-26 season, then added four goals and one assist in 19 playoff games.

Selected by the Chicago Blackhawks as the third-overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, Dach spent three seasons there before being traded to Montreal in July 2022 for a first- and third-round pick.
