‘Soft’ Flyers Take Gut Punch, Need a Reality Check After Loss to Capitals
from Philly Hockey Now, by William James,
“We’ve certainly had some discussions in the room,” said Flyers defenseman Nick Seeler following Wednesday’s 5-2 loss vs. the Washington Capitals on what the Flyers can do to improve their starts to games.
“Especially with our starts. After the first, our focus levels, compete levels, and playing for the crest. That’s what it’s all about. It’s not about points, or me, me, me. It’s about the team and playing for each other and sacrificing for each other. It’s really not that difficult to understand. Play for the guy next to you. That’s what Flyers hockey is all about. When we can figure it out at puck drop, we’ll be a better hockey team,” said Seeler.
