Penguins forward Ben Kindel is back in Pittsburgh after collapsing on the team's plane on Tuesday.
General manager Kyle Dubas told reporters on Thursday that Kindel suffered a vasovagal episode — a sudden drop in heart rate and blood pressure reducing blood flow to the brain — about 10 minutes after departing from Utah and regained consciousness after receiving oxygen from the team's medical staff.
