Report: Rangers hiring Jonathan Quick as director of goaltending development

The New York Rangers are adding one of their former goalies to their staff.

Jonathan Quick is set to serve as the Rangers' director of goaltending development, according to a report from The New York Post's Mollie Walker .

Quick, 40, announced his retirement from the NHL at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.

A three-time Stanley Cup champion, Quick appeared in 829 career NHL games for the Los Angeles Kings, Vegas Golden Knights and Rangers, posting a 410-307-90 record, along with a 2.51 goals-against average, a .910 save percentage and 65 shutouts.
