The 22-year-old, who’s without any prior suspension in his young career, and not even a single fine, said he’s still processing the NHL Department of Player Safety’s ruling, which admittedly felt harsh. While Nazar’s hit on Horvat was dangerous and avoidable, a fine seemed more appopriate as the first-time offender.
