Canadiens Preview: Fowler Aims For Seventh Straight Win
from Montreal Hockey Now, by Marc Dumont,
The Montreal Canadiens (8-3-2) host the Pittsburgh Penguins (5-6-2) on Saturday night, with puck drop set for 7 p.m. ET.
The Habs will look to extend their surprising win streak without captain Nick Suzuki in the lineup to five games, on the heels of a hard-fought 5-2 win over the Dallas Stars. Netminder Jakub Dobes was given the start, earning his second win of the season by stopping 17 of the 19 shots sent his way. Not only did the Habs hold an edge in shots at 5v5 (55.2%), they also limited the Stars to just five high-danger scoring chances, in stark contrast to the 20 high-danger chances they allowed against the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night.
