After outstanding rookie season, Oilers newcomer's greatest test is upon him
from the Edmonton Journal,
On the upside, Quinn Hutson had an outstanding first season as a professional, scoring 30 goals and getting 63 points in 67 American Hockey League games for Bakersfield, the top affiliate team of the Edmonton Oilers .
On the downside, Hutson was 24 by the end of the year, old for an NHL prospect. His scoring was strong as an AHL rookie, but it’s not unusual for 24-year-old players to have big seasons in the AHL yet never make it in the NHL.
