If you’re in the mood to take a big cut, there might not be a more interesting time in NHL history to lift the bat off the shoulder.

At this point, we’ve basically got trade talk around stars — and in a couple cases, genuine superstars — at every position on the ice, and it’s easy to wonder if the Washington Capitals are a good candidate to unleash a huge swing.
