Lardis Not An Option To Replace Kane For Blackhawks Road Trip

With Patrick Kane ’s latest injury, forward prospect Nick Lardis appeared as a natural replacement for the Chicago Blackhawks on their upcoming three-game road trip.
But the 21-year-old winger unfortunately wasn’t a recall option for the Blackhawks on Tuesday, as the Rockford IceHogs announced that Lardis will miss the next 1-2 weeks with an ailment of his own. Lardis suffered a lower-body injury in the first period of Sunday’s 4-3 win over the Texas Stars.
