Rangers sign G Dylan Garand to two-year extension

After an impressive cup of coffee at the NHL level, Dylan Garand has earned himself a new contract.
The New York Rangers signed the goaltender to a two-year contract extension, the team announced Sunday.
According to Mollie Walker of the New York Post , the deal is a two-way contract in Year 1, worth $850,000 at the NHL level, then will convert to a one-way deal in Year 2, worth $900,000.
Garand, 24, made his NHL debut last season, appearing in three games in late March and mid-April. He posted a 1.62 goals against average and .948 save percentage.
