Penguins Skate: Livanavage Called Up, Korczak Ready, Malkin Not
from Pittsburgh Hockey Now, by Dan Kingerski,
Evgeni Malkin took part in the Pittsburgh Penguins morning skate Tuesday at the UPMC Lemieux Complex, one day after the team termed him out, day to day. So, too, did defenseman Kaedan Korczak .
According to coach Dan Muse, Malkin will continue skating but will not be available when the Penguins host the Vegas Golden Knights at PPG Paints Arena. Instead of playing, Malkin engaged in a spirited workout after the skate with rookie Jake Livanavage , who was called up from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Tuesday morning.
