Blackhawks vs. Sabres: Byram Out, Korchinski’s Debut, Projected Lineups, & Watch
from Chicago Hockey Now, by Jack Bushman,
The Chicago Blackhawks (0-2-0) season-opening three-game road trip wraps up Saturday against the Buffalo Sabres (0-1-0) at KeyBank Center. The game is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on CHSN.
After two disheartening defeats in Las Vegas and Utah, the Blackhawks look to rebound drastically and earn their first win of the 2026-27 regular season in Western New York. Through two games, the Blackhawks have been outscored 11-2, outshot 69-41, and outchanced 73-46. Their power play is 0-for-5, while the penalty kill is 3-for-6. It hasn’t been pretty, to say the least.
