Hurricanes sign Pyotr Kochetkov to two-year extension

The Carolina Hurricanes announced Friday the team signed goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov to a two-year contract extension that will carry an average annual value of $3.95 million.
According to a news release shared by Hurricanes, Kochetkov will earn a salary of $2.4 million with a $1.5-million signing bonus in 2027-28, then earn a $3-million salary with a $1-million bonus in 2028-29.
