A key member of the Florida Panthers is on the mend after recent surgery. Brad Marchand confirmed on social media that he recently underwent a procedure that will keep him off the ice for the time being. Marchand was supposed to play in former teammate Zdeno Chara’s charity game in Slovakia on Friday, but confirmed he would be unable to participate. “I just wanted to send you a note and first off apologize, I won’t be able to make Z’s game," Marchand said in the video.
