Penguins place four players on injured reserve
from Daily Faceoff (Frank Seravalli),
The Pittsburgh Penguins announced that they have placed centers Ben Kindel and Blake Lizotte, winger Justin Brazeau and defenseman Ryan Graves on injured reserve going into the regular season.
Kindel is the most notable of the four injuries, as the sophomore is week-to-week with a lower-body injury that he sustained during Monday’s 4-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres . It’s unclear how he sustained the injury or what specifically is injured, but the Penguins will hope his timeline for return is on the shorter end of the week-to-week spectrum. He was held without a point in the lone preseason appearance.
