Sandin-Pellikka’s replacement sees much promise in young D-man

The Detroit Red Wings acquired Justin Faulk at the trade deadline to replace rookie Axel Sandin-Pellikka on the second defense pairing, the lineup and ultimately the roster.
Sandin-Pellikka likely will start the season with the Grand Rapids Griffins, but Faulk sees a lot of promise in the 17th overall pick from 2023.
