Bruins acquiring JJ Peterka in trade with Mammoth

The Boston Bruins are finalizing a deal for the 24-year-old forward with the Utah Mammoth , according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.
Boston is sending the 23rd pick in Friday's draft and a 2028 first-round pick, via the Florida Panthers, to Utah to complete the trade. The 2028 first is top-10 protected.
Peterka played in all 82 games for Utah in 2025-26, recording 25 goals, 47 points and a plus-6 rating while averaging 15:59 of ice time per contest.
He was held off the scoresheet in Utah's six-game first-round loss to the Vegas Golden Knights in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
