Jarvis progressing in recovery from shoulder surgery for Hurricanes
from NHL.com,
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Seth Jarvis wore a regular jersey for the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday for the first time since having offseason surgery on his right shoulder, the forward's next step in his recovery.
Jarvis, who was on the ice with the Hurricanes at Lenovo Center for their morning skate prior to their game against the Philadelphia Flyers (7 p.m. ET; HHN, CARNHL, SNP), had surgery to repair a torn labrum and rotator cuff in June. He was expected to need 4-6 months to recover, with a return expected between late October and December.
