Maple Leafs hold high-attendance optional skate as top line looks to build more chemistry
from TSN,
After scoring just six goals in the first three games of the season, the Toronto Maple Leafs held an optional skills practice on Sunday morning.
“We like to do that, and we haven’t had a chance to do that with the schedule,” said coach Jim Hiller. “So, guys get out there, touch the puck a little bit. I think it’s no secret we’re having a tough time burying chances ... so maybe a day like today helps that.”
